hot-bod SmartLipo | The Stitch-Free AlternativeDoes this sound like you…
Searched high and low for cosmetic surgery procedures to remove those flabby underarms, but too scared to go under the cosmetic knife?

Well don’t fear as I’ve learnt of a new procedure called SmartLipo. It’s a stitch-free lipo without bruising or the need for general anaesthetics. It’s a gentle non-invasive laser procedure that only takes around 20 minutes, and the best thing is, there’s no need to be laid up in bed.

This sounds too good to be true, right…

Well, I found this piece on SmartLipo from Snowberry Lane, who were one of the first few clinics in the UK to offer SmartLipo.

How does SmartLipo procedure work? How effective is it?
SmartLipo uses a fine canula (1mm. diam.) to deliver a safe, powerful laser to heat fat cells, causing them to break down. The fat deposits are simply absorbed by the liver and disposed of naturally. At the same time, the laser seals-off minor blood vessels and stimulates collagen production to give a smooth, sculptured finish.
SmartLipo is perfect for eliminating the common ‘problem areas’… tummy, knees under-arms, buttocks, back, chin etc. The overall result depends on the severity of the area to be treated, but dramatic improvements are usually seen approximately 6 weeks after treatment - with final results in about 6-12 months.
It doesn’t have immediate results; I guess it’s the trade-off between a 3-week bed-rest & horrifying bruising vs. 3 months delay.

Would I be left with orange peel skin in the treated area?
No. The laser seals-off minor blood vessels and stimulates collagen production to give a smooth, sculptured finish.
It comes with a bonus at no extra cost!

Is there any side-effects?
Minor bruising or discomfort may occur in the short term. Antibiotics are given to prevent infection. Also, a local anaesthetic is applied to the area to be treated and the procedure is virtually painless. In normal circumstances there is no health risk associated with the SmartLipo. An initial consultation will be given by a trained specialist to assess the suitability.

How much does a SmartLipo procedure cost?
Overall cost depends on the extent of the treatment. Again, this will be discussed during initial consultation.
I’ve had a look online and depending on the amount and areas to be treated, the procedure is priced around £2000 ~ £4000. It’s not much cheaper than the traditional liposuction surgeries, but again, it’s less invasive.

Of course, it’s after all still a cosmetic procedure and I don’t think should be taken lightly.

Did you have hair, Dad?

Author: admin  //  Category: cosmetic surgery
The truth has been uncovered. For years, since the last research was out, mothers have been blamed for passing down the gene for hair loss to their sons. Now, new research shows that they are equally guilty. A team of researchers have made a new discovery on the genes that cause baldness, which suggests two genetic variants are linked to the condition. Good news is, scientist can now predict hair loss, and possibly bring in preventive treatments.
